In addition to this, you need to know more about it.North Courtry Bypass

The solution adopted: Approved unanimously by the Departmental Assembly.

After a first public meeting, solutions taking into account the various proposals and suggestions made by the inhabitants were studied by the services of the Department. The chosen solution was presented at a second public meeting.

The report on this project was unanimously approved at the Departmental Assembly on December 19, 2019.

The project : it is a question of allowing the deviation of the transit, that of heavy goods vehicles in particular, by ensuring a link with the RD 34 north of Courtry.

Several development projects have turned out to be possible. The solution adopted (see diagram) is of course the one which takes the greatest possible account of constraints which are physical, accessibility, environmental (protection of natural resources), economic and human.

With a length of 2350 m, the route of this future bypass allows a respectable distance passage of the dwellings and the integration of MOUS plots in the town. It has a gradient of 4.2%, much lower than the norm, and a minimum impact on the environment (interception of the Dhuys aqueduct at 2 points with re-establishment of the promenade).

To note : there will be no connection from rue des Bonnes Vignes, and that the RD 84 will only ascend from Bourg.

Production cost: 8.2 million euros excluding tax, financed by the Region and the Department.
